At Baco-Compak, we believe waste management is about more than just collecting rubbish — it’s about helping communities thrive. One of the most rewarding ways we give back is through the donation of skips and wheelie bins to charity events and local initiatives that may not have the resources to manage waste properly.
🛠️ Practical Support Where It’s Needed Most
From school fundraisers to village festivals, waste disposal is often one of the biggest and most costly challenges for local organisers. We’re proud to remove that burden by providing:
Free or heavily discounted skips and bins
General waste and recycling options
Flexible pick-up and drop-off services
This lets event organisers focus on creating great experiences — not cleaning up after them.
💚 Why We Do It
We see ourselves as more than a waste disposal provider — we're a partner in community success. Donating skips and bins might seem like a small gesture, but for charities and grassroots events, it makes a world of difference. Our support helps ensure:
Cleaner, safer venues
Reduced financial stress for non-profits
More funds directed toward their core missions
📍 Community Impact in Action
Here are just a few of the ways we’re making a real difference locally:
🌷 The Norfolk Hospice – Tapping House
We proudly support the Tulip Fields event each year, raising funds for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House. This charity provides free, compassionate care to over 1,500 adults annually who are living with life-limiting illnesses across Norfolk and North Cambridgeshire.
We donate general waste and mixed recycling bins to help keep the event clean, allowing more donations to go toward patient care and family support.
🎶 FenFest – Pott Row
FenFest is a beloved community event in Pott Row, featuring live music, craft stalls, family activities, and more than 20 local sponsors.
We contribute by donating waste bins, so the organisers can focus on fun, not logistics. It's a great day out — and a great example of local businesses coming together.
🐌 World Championship Snail Racing – Grimston Cricket Club
Yes, you read that right! This quirky and charming annual event has been running since the 1960s and raises money for St Andrew’s Church in Congham.
By donating bins, we help ensure the proceeds go where they’re most needed — supporting the local church and community efforts.
🌼 Sandringham Flower Show
One of the most prestigious events in the region, the Sandringham Flower Show showcases the very best in horticulture and draws thousands each year.
As proud Royal Warrant holders, we’re honoured to support Sandringham events throughout the year — especially this historic show now in its 142nd year. Our waste services help keep the grounds pristine for families and guests alike.
Heacham Minors Football Club
We supported Heacham Minors Football Club recently with the Family Fun Day on Saturday, 12th July 2025, at their Station Road ground in Heacham, Norfolk. We were happy to provide wheelie bins for them to use throughout the day, ensuring that the grounds were kept clean and tidy. The day was filled with activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, stalls, children's games, and a barbecue for attendees.
At Baco-Compak, we believe clean spaces create better experiences. By donating skips and bins, we’re helping events shine brighter, charities save more, and communities flourish.
For us, it’s not just about waste management — it’s about giving people the freedom to focus on what truly matters: raising funds, celebrating traditions, and bringing communities together. Whether it’s a quirky village race, a local fundraiser, or a prestigious regional showcase, we’re proud to play a small but meaningful part in their success.
